Onslow County, NC - Josiah Henderson Sr to Josiah Henderson, 1823 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Josaih Henderson Sr. Deed to Josiah Henderson December 14th 1823 To all people to whom these presents shall come greeting Know ye that I Josiah Henderson Senior of Onslow County in the State of North Carolina out of the love and good will I have and do bear for my son Josiah Henderson all the Lands I bought of M. Waters comprehending the house and plantation where M. Waters formally lived Which lands lie on the prong of Poplar Branch being part of two pattents beginnning at a gum in said branch Southry Waters corner thence running along the dividing line a South West course to my old line thence along said pattent line to a black jack in said line then along said pattent line to a big elwood stump on said line then along said line to a pine at the head of said branch then the various courses of said branch to the beginning containing One hundred acres more or less. Which lands I warrant from the lawful claims of any person or persons laying any claim thereto.
