Onslow County, NC - Thomas B. Henderson to Margarett A. Henderson, 1884

State of North Carolina, County of Onslow

	Know all men by these presents that Mr. Thomas B. Henderson
and wife Valerian Henderson of the County and State aforesaid for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to us in hand
paid by Margarett Ann Henderson of the same County and State and for
other and further considerations the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath sold and does hereby convey to the said Margarett
Ann Henderson her heirs and assigns forever the following real
estate viz: a certain tract or parcel of land being and lying in the 
County aforesaid and in White Oak Township and bounded by the lands 
of Aretus Summersill the heirs of the late Lewis Hill Henderson Abram
Lovitt and others containing about two hundred acres be the same more
or less, being the same tract or parcel of land wherein Josiah Smith
Henderson now resides together with all the prviledges and appurtances
to the same belonging.  To have and to hold the same to the said 
Margarett Ann Henderson her heirs and assigns forever.  In witness
whereof me the said Thomas B. Henderson and his wife Valerian Henderson
hereto set our hands & seals this 25th day of June A.D. 1884.

State Of North Carolina, Onslow County

	I Nobles Summersill a Justice of the Peace do hereby certify
that T.B. Henderson and Valerian Henderson his wife personally 
appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due execution of the
foregoing deed of conveyance and the said Valerian Henderson being by
me privately examined seperate and apart from her said husband touching
her voluntary execution of the same doth state that she signed the same
freely and voluntarily without fear or compulsion of her said husband
or any other person and that she doth still voluntarily assert thereto
Witness my hand and seal this 25th day of November A.D. 1884

for Onslow County is adjudged correct.  Let the same be registered.
