Woodhouse Rhodes to Rebeckah Rhodes, both of Onslow – 125a in Onslow – to the 
widow of my son Lemuel Rhodes deceased, the dwelling house and other small 
buildings erected by the aforesaid Lemuel Rhodes deceased together with all 
cleared land adjacent to the house during her widowhood or lifetime and at her 
death or marriage I then give the land and improvements to the two sons of 
Lemuel Rhodes, Christopher C. Rhodes and Henry Rhodes and I now out of the 
regard I have for my two grandsons just named and for their more certain 
maintenance and education do give to them a tract of land, including the lands 
lent to their mother, on the north side of Gravelly Run adjacent my own corner.
