E., p. 87 2 April 1804 Jesse SANDERS of Onslow Co., NC & John BRITTIN of Onslow Co., NC This Indenture made this 2nd day of April 1804 between Jesse SANDERS of Onslow County and State of North Carolina of the one part and John BRITTIN of the same county and State of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Jesse SANDERS for the sum of One Hundred and Eleven pounds Specie to him in hand paid by the aforesaid John BRITTIN before the unsealing and delivering of these presents-the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself fully satisfied and paid have granted and sold to the said John BRITTIN his heirs and assigns forever a certain piece or parcel of land containing one hundred acres be the same more or less situated int he County aforesaid and on Bear Creek and a part of a tract of land patented by John WOODALL and joining HUGGINS line on the East side of Bear Creek beginning at a Gum in John HUGGINS corner and runs with his line north 15 W 302 poles then East 22 poles, then running along a row of marked trees, S 20 E 340 poles to a stake at the mouth of a small — which empties into Bear Creek then running up the various cross of the same to the first station. To have and to Hold the aforesaid tract with all the privileges and benefits thereunto belonging which bargained premises I the said Jesse SANDERS do Warrant and forever defend against myself my heirs or assigns forever and against the lawful claim of all other personal whatsoever the aforesaid lands to the said John BRITTON, his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns forever. In testimony of the same, I here set my hand and seal this day and date above written.
