C. State Troops, Fredericksburg, Va., on the 16th inst., Capt. Robert H. Drysdale, aged about 28 years. He was born in Scotland where he leaves a mother and other relatives. At his residence of his father, in Bladen county, on the 12th ult., J. D. Singletary, in the 24th year of his age, a member of the Bladen Guard. In Wilmington, on the 16th inst., of pneumonia, Samuel J. Hardison, of Onslow county, aged 32 years. He was a member of the Onslow Greys, Company E, 3d Regiment N. C. State Troops. In Richmond, Va., on the 9th inst., Mr. D. F. McCorkle, of Catawba county, N. C., a member of Capt. McCorkle's company of volunteers. At Manassas, on the 29th ult., Mr. Wm. L. Cowan, a member of Capt. Rufus Barringer's company of Cavalry, aged 21 years. He was a native of Rowan. At Camp Wyatt, John H. Grady, of the Neuse River Guards, 30th Reg't. At Petersburg, on the 25th Dec., M. Benfield, of the "Burke county Tigers," in the 23d year of his age. At Carolina City, on the 23d of Dec'r 1861, of Pneumonia, John F. Turner, son of Wm. D. Turner, Esq., a member of the Wake Guards, Co. D, 26th Regiment N. C. Vols., in the 23d year of his age. At Carolina City, on the 9th inst., Sidney Sorrell of Wake County, a member of Company H, 7th regiment N. C. State Troops.
