BRADHAM, of that County, killed his father, DANIEL BRADHAM, by striking him over the head with a fence rail. On Saturday, the 26th, an inquest was held over the body by Coroner ELIJAH MURRILL. The verdict of the jury was in accordance with the facts above stated. The BRADHAMS, father and son, both citizens and residents of Onslow County, lived close together and had been enemies for years, during which time they seldom met without a quarrel taking place. It was during one of these quarrels that the son, S. P. BRADHAM, seized a fence rail and killed the old man with one blow over the head. The affair occurred in Richland's District. The murderer has not yet been arrested or found, notwithstanding the vigilent exertions of SHERIFF HUMPHREY, and it is feared that he may be able to elude the officers of the law and made his escape.
