JULIA REESE BRITT

   Mrs. Julia Reese Britt, 69, wife of Waylon Macon Britt of the Franklin 
community, died at the residence on Tuesday night, June 16, after suffering a 
heart attack.

   A native of Onslow County, N.C., Mrs. Britt was a member of the Northeast 
Baptist Church, Washington, N.C.

   Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Waylon Albert Britt of 
Alton, Ill., and Claude Britt of Conway, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Gilmer West 
of Franklin and Mrs. Raymond Taylor of Paterson, N.J.; 13 grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Emma Connlington of Washington, N.C.; and 
one brother, Columbia Reese of South Carolina.

   At the time of going to press arrangements for the funeral had not been 
completed.
