DONALD BRUCE CARLISLE

JACKSONVILLE - Donald Bruce Carlisle, 81, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 
at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late John and Grace 
Eggleston Carlisle. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scott 
Carlisle. He served with the 31st Infantry Division in WWII. He was 
retired as a hospital administrator.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Lane Carlisle of the home; two sons, 
Randy Carlisle of Jacksonville, and Gary Carlisle of Rancho Santa Margarita, 
CA; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones 
Funeral Home. Rev. Don Steffa officiated. Burial was in Coastal Carolina 
State Veterans Cemetery. The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
