W.E. "BILL" DAY

MARRITTE ISLAND, Fla. --
W.E. "Bill" Day, 58, of Marritte Island, Fla., died Saturday at Titesville, 
Fla., from injuries received in an automobile accident.  The funeral will be 
conducted in Florida.

Day was a retired captain with the U.S. Marine Corps.  He was employed with 
John Hancock Insurance Co in Jacksonville for many years and was transferred 
by the company to Marritte Island.

Surviving are his wife, Grace Farnell Day; two sons, Billy Day of Florida and 
Michael Day of Durham; and a daughter, Nancy Day of Florida.

Additional Comments:
Grace Sanders Farnell is the daughter of the late, Samuel Isaac "Uncle Sam" 
Farnell and Carrie Sanders Freshwater.
