Onslow Co NC
William P. Ferrant, Esq. of Onslow Co [NC] was killed 07 [?November] 1836 by the
overturning of the stage sixteen miles south of Cheraw [SC].  His remains were
interred on the farm of a Mr. M’Millan [sic]; notice first published in the NC
Register [issue date not given] after the NC Register received a letter from the
Rev. Dr. Witherspoon of Camden SC; notice published 30 Nov 1836.

German Reformed Church 1830-1839”, by Barbara Manning; extracts from the
newspaper The Weekly Messenger of the German Reformed Church, published in
Chambersburg, PA. “Notice” refers to the date of publication in The Weekly
Messenger of the German Reformed Church.  Added information by this submitter is
in brackets [  ].
