This is Cyrus "Thompson" Russell, the son of William Walker Russell and Sarah 
Caroline Haskins.  This picture and that of his son, Gene, were found in the 
Lawrence deLafayette Morton Family Album.  

Additional Comments:
If my records are correct, he was born March 1893 and died September 21, 1959.  
Catherine Henderson Scott, his neice, was able to verify that this was a 
picture of him. (05/12/2006)

Sarah Caroline Haskins and Thalia Alma Freshwater, the wife of Lawrence D. 
Morton, were half sisters, their mother being Kitty Caroline Sanders.
