Additional Comments: Lott Gregory, the son of Lott and Mary Gregory. Husband of Martha Caroline Barber, daughter of Micah Barber and Elizabeth Brinson. According to "Onslow County Heritage", he was a prosperous plantation owner, who sold his plantation after the Civil War because could not make it work without slaves. They moved to Marines, NC (where the USMC Camp Lejeune Base is now located)and he made money in fisheries and oystering on the Lower New River.
