Edgar Best Morton was the son of Westley Edward Morton and Marinda Caroline 
Thomas of Onslow County.  He was born on 07 Oct 1873 and died on 15 Mar 1966.  
He never married.  He was a fisherman, in the Swansboro/WhiteOak River area, 
and lived on a houseboat until his later life.
