AD 1815 --- Additional Comments: Thomas Russell married Obiah Ward, the daughter of David and Abigail Ward. One of their sons, William Jarvis, was prominent in the Texas Revolution. Another son, Daniel Lindsay, became a very wealthy plantation owner in the Brunswick area south of Wilmington, NC. Their grandson, Daniel Lindsay, Jr. became Governor of the State of North Carolina.
