Pol is entitled to have a year provision for herself and family allotted out of the estate of her said husband and is desirous to have the same allotted her the prays to that and a committee be appointed to allot the same and due return make that the same be confirmed and decreed & that said John E Hupey Adm be notified of this proceeding that he may shew cause if any he has why petrs prayer be not granted= & that she may have and other and further relief . & as in duty bound (signed) Geo L. Dudley, =Esquire, Captain General, Governor and Commander-in-Chief, in and over the State aforesaid; in the sum of three hundred dollars, current money, to be paid to said Governor, his successors in office or assigns: To the which payment well and truly to be made, we bind Ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 8 day of May AD 1838. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bounden John E. Hupey Administrator of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits of Matthew Basden deceased, do make, or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said deceased, which have or Shall come to the hands or possession of the said John E. Hupey, or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons, for him do well and truly administer according to Law; and further, do make or cause to be made, a true and just account of his said Administration, within two years after the date of these presents, and all the rest and residue of the said Goods, Chattels and Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Administrat account, the same being first examined and allowed by the Court of said County, shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons, respectively, to which the same shall be due, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the Act in that case, made and provided: and if it shall appear that any Will or Testament was made by the said deceased, and the Executor therein named do exhibit the same in to Court, making request to have the same allowed and proved accordingly: If the said John E. Hupey above bounden, being thereunto required, do render and deliver the said Letters of administration (a probation of such Testament being first had and made in the said Court (then this Obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
