I Edmond Ennet of North Carolina on New River Being weak of Bodey But of a sound mind praised be to God Do make this my last will and testament Revoking and Disanulling all other and former wills By me made Viz. I Commit my Soule to God who gave it and my Bodey to the Earth to be decently Buried as my Exrs. hereafter Shall See fitt In hopes of a Joyful Resurrection when God Shall Rase the just through the merits of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and what Estate Both Real and personall God hath Intrusted me with I Give the Same as followeth Imprimes - Item Give and Bequeath unto my Son John Ennet (smeared) of land lying at the moth of a Creek Called Kisables Creek Being three hundred acres more or less Begining at the moth of the Creek thence up the Creek to a marked tree it Being the Devideing Between James Henderson and me. Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Son John one negro man Called Toney at the age of Eighteen. Item I Give unto my Son John ten Cows and Calves the mail Cattel to be killed for the metainance and Schooling of him Self. I Give and Bequeath unto my Son John young mare of a blackish bay and one fether bed and furnatate and one Iron pot of about three Gallons to him and his heirs for Ever and in Case he Dyes with out Issue I Give the Same to my Son Edmond and my Daughter Ellinor and my Son Joseph to them and their heirs for Ever -------. Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Ellinor Ennet ten Cows and Calves to be Delivered at the age of Sixteen years of and two five year old stears to bye a bed and two four year old stears to by her Close and one three year old Stear to by a pot with one Rone horse to her and her heirs for Ever. -- Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Edmond and my Son Joseph my Dweling plantation to be Devided Betwen them. I Give and Bequeath to my two Sons Edmond and Joseph one negro Gorl Called Sarah to be Eakly Devided. I Give and bequeath unto my Son Edmond ten Cows and Calves with their Enirees(?) and one Bed and furnatute with one Iron pot and one young mare about four years old and one young horse to him and his heirs for Ever ---- Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Joseph Ennet ten Cows and Calves with their Enirees with one fether Bed and one Iron pot about one Gallon and a half and one mare Colt about a month old Belonging to Johns mare - to him and his heirs for Ever. --- Item I Give and Bequeath unto my house keeper Anne Bird my Dweling plantation Endureing her naterall Life for the Considerration of Bring up of my Children with one horse Called Dymond with the benefit of all the mail stock for the mentainance of my Children. -- Item I Leve my Son Edmond and my Son John and my Son Joseph free at the age of Eighteen years and my Daughter Ellinor free at the age of Sixteen years and then my will is that my Sons Shall Recive their Estates and my Daughter Ellinor to Recive her Estate at the age of Sixteen. Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Exrs ten Stears and one Gray horse and one white mare for the use of my Daughter Ellinor and the Remaining parts of my Estate I leve In the hands of my Exrs for the use of Anne Bird and my Children. I hereby nominate and appoint Mr. Nathaniell Avriet and Mr. John Warren to be the Sole Excutors of this my last will and testament. In Testimony hereof I set my hand and Seal This 24th Day of febry 1734/5.
