Chief of all I humbly commend my soul into the mercy of God my Creator & my body to corruption, fully trusting for the salvation of the one and the resurrection of the other through the only merits of Jesus trusted me with after my just debts needfull expenses being first paid I desier to dispose of them as followeth ---- First I give & bequeth to my grandson Geo. Ward one cow & calf. Item: I give & bequeth to my son-in-law Seth Ward all my working tools of all kinds what so ever and as to pines & lightwood that I sold my said son-in-law that was on that four hundred acres of land I bought of Absolam Hart my desier is that he shall have the same without any interuption from any person what so ever--Lastly I give & bequeath to my granddaughter Elnor Gilliot the said four hundred acres ol land exclusive of of the pines & lightwood which are disposed of as above. All so I give my said granddaughter all my household goods of all kind & sorts what so ever and all my stock of cattle that is not already given away with half my hogs & my riding mair to her & her heirs forever & reserveing the first colt the said mair has for my son Western Hadnot with the other half of my hogs & my squair plain silver buckles which I give to him & his heirs forever. I give & bequeath to my daughter Sarah Hunter my carved silver buckles and my sorrel mair that runs in the woods, only futher I constitute and appoint my son-in-law Seth Ward sole executor of this my last will & testement revoking all other wills by me made and declairing this only to be my last will & testement.
