All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Rebecca McNeil RMcneal337@aol.com August 3, 2005, 6:12 pm Source: Nc Archives Written: July 15, 1745 In the name of god amen, I John Huggins of Onslow County, planter, being in resonable health of body and sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament in form following, cheife of all I commend my soul unto the mercy of god my maker, and Jesus Christ my redeemer and my body to the earth to be decently buried at my freind, didscresion, hopint to receive the same again at the last great day. and as for such worldly goods, as providence has trusted me with after my just debts and needful expense are first payed, dispose of the same as followeth, first I give and bequeath unto my only son John Huggins, my plantation whereon I now dwell situated on Bear Creek together with all its appartenance to my said son John and his heirs, and asignes forever, also I bequeath all the rest of my estate goods, chattell, rights and credits, to be by my executor in short time after my decease, divided one third part to my wife Mary Huggins, for her comfort and support, and two thirds parts to my son John and his heirs and assignes forever.
