First: All of my first detts ( if any & Funeral expenses shall be first paid out of the first money coming unto the hands of my Executor here in after marned. 2nd: I give devise bequeath to my children Rigdon Jarman, Rachel Huffman, Robert Jarman, Elizabeth Jarman, Orfha Marshburn, Nancy Jarman, Alice Whaley, Leoicy Miller five dollars each in money. I give to my Grandchildren Mary Williams, & Famince Pettway two dollars & fifty cents each. I give to my son Rigdon Jarman 20 acres of my land dedescibe as follows beginning at the Kinston Road at the corner of Joe Whaley’s line & running with said Whaly’s line to New River & with said New River a sufficient distance that a straight line & with same back to the Kinston Road will contain 20 acres ( running with said road back to the beginning. I give to my Daughter Alice Whaley 20 acres of the said track of land beginning at Kinston Road at the corner of the said Rigdon Jarman & Running with his line to New River & Down same sufficient distance that a divet line back to Kinston road & with same to the beginning will contain 20 acres. I give to my daughter _____ Jarman 20 acres beginning at Kinston Road at the Corner of the said Alice Whaley & running with her line to New River & down the same a sufficient distance that a divet in back to Kinston Road & with said to the Beginning will contain 20 acres. I give to my son Robert Jarman 20 acres of land beginning at the Kinston Road at the corner of the said _____ Jarman running with her line to New River & down said River a sufficient distance that a line back to Kinston Road & with same to the beginning will contain 20 acres. I give to my daughter ______ Marshburn 20 acres of land beginning at the Kinston Road at the corner of the said Robert Jarman Running with his line to the New River & with same to the mouth of __________ Branch & with said Branch to Kinston Road & with same to the beginning. I give to my daughter _____ Miller 20 acres of land beginning at Kinston Road at __________ Branch running with same a sufficient distance that line running northerly for enough that a straight line back to Kinston Road would include the House & field now cleared on same in the 20 acres. I give to my son’s John, Jerry, & Nick Jarman the remainder of the said track of land east of Kinston Road exaftering a firevillage of & for timber & wood & lightwood for the _______ & future owners of the track of land on which 5 now live the same firevillage to Contain. I give to my daughter Rebecca ______ a surtain piece of land beginning on the Kinston Road at the line of E. Humphray & running with said line to back line of said track of land & with said line around to Kinston Road & with to the beginning. I give to my daughter Mary Melton a Active piece of land beginning at lowford branch a the corner of Jesse Humphray & running with said branch of the line of Henry Sandline & with his line to Kinston Road & with said Road to the line of said Humphry & with the same to the beginning. I give to my daughter Pine Sandline 25 dollars the above piece of land. Give to my daughter Mary Melton is given to her during her married life & there to the heirs of her body. I give to my daughter ______ Jarman all personal property ______ house hold & kitchen, provision, furniture farming implements & all money on land at my death including all money collected from acres & notes due my estate, after paying my funeral expenses & others aren’t as named in the above provision of my will.
