Viz My will and desire is that all my just debts be paid out of my estate. I give and bequeath to my two sons Lemuel Gillet and Isaac Gillet all my property that may be left after paying of my debts, to them, their heirs and assigns for ever to be Equally divided between the two Lem’l Gillet and Isaac Gillet. I apoint my two beloved sons Lem’l Gillet and Isaac Gillet Executors to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Before the Court was admitte to be duly proved by the Oath of James Coston, one of the subscribing witnesses there to and Isaac Gillet one of the Executors therein named Qualified thereto. Signed by Clerk of Court Banister Lester (?) Recorded in Book of Wills 1800 on Page 98 Additional Comments: This woman was the widow of (1) John Gillett(III) (died 1794),and of (2) Brooks McKenny. Her sons were Lemuel and Isaac Gillett, who are also mentioned in the will of Brooks McKenny. There were apparently no children born to her marriage to Brooks McKenny. John Gillett (III) was the son of Anderson Gillett and the grandson of John Gillett (I) who came from the Eastern Shore.
