FIRST: I recommend my soul to God who gave it hoping through merits of my blessed savour to receive free pardon of all my sins & as to such worldly estate as it has pleased God to give me I dispose of in the following manner. FIRST: I lend to my beloved wife, Solemi Morton during her natural life or widowhood the use of my land with the house and plantation where on I now live to enable her to raise my childern after her deceased my will and desire is that the landsand plantations line above Long Branch I give and bequeath to my son William Morton to him and his heirs forever. SECONDLY: I give to my son William Motron, a more to him and his heirs forever. THIRDLY: I give to my son Frazier Morton, the plantation whereon I now live lying below Long Branch. FOURTHLY: I give and bequeath to my two sons, William & Frazier Morton a right of lands on New River Banks to them and their heirs foreever. I lend to my beloved wife Solomi Morton during her life or widowgood the use of all my household goods and plantations tools with my cattle and ridding horse and stock of every kind and at her deceased I leave all my personal estate to be equally divied amongest my childern. Lastely I nominate and appoint my brother Benjamine Morton Executor and my wife Solemi Morton Exectorix to this my Last Will and Testifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament as witness my hand the 29th day of June, 1801.
