I ABRAM MITCHELL of Onslow County, Planter being sick and weak in body, but of sound mind and memory. Do make this my last will and testament in form following, cheife of all I commend my soul into the hand of GOD my maker hoping for salvation through Jesus Christ my Redemer and my body to the ground to be descently intered hoping to receive the same again at the resurrection at the last great day, and as for such worldly goods as providence hath trusted me with I despose of the same as folleweth, FIRST, I bequeath my land being sixty acres joining his land unto my son GEORGE an to his heirs and assigns forever. Item: I bequeath unto my wife ANN my land on Queens Creek during her natural life or widdowhood and after I bequeath the same land to my son ANTHONY and his heirs and assigns forever. My will is that the patent for the Queens Creek land be paid for out of my estate. Also I bequeath to my said wife three cows and calves and the mare I had from READ. One iron pot, two pewter dishes, and three pewter plates and one feather bed and furniture, also one wheel and card and all the wool and cotton, also I bequeth to my son JOHN three cows and calves and one cow and calve more that I owe to him. Also I bequeath to my son ANTHONY three cows and calves, and one cow and calve of his own mark. Also my shoue makers toolls. Also I bequeath to my son GEORGE three cows and calves and one cow and calve that is of his own mark. Also all my carpenters tools. Also I bequeath to my daughter REBECCA three cows and calves and four sheep and the gold ring and ear rings that were her mothers, also one feather bed and furniture. Also I bequeath to my daughter KATHERINE three cows and calves, also the feather bed and furniture that I willed to her mother after her mothers death or marriage. Also I bequeath to my daughter REBECCA my lennen wheel, also to my son JOHN my coopers tools, also I bequeath all the rest of my goods and chattells, to be sold at vendue and all my just debts payed out of it and the remainder to be divided, to my wife one third part and the other two thirds amount all my children in equall portions and in case one of my children die before he comes of age or marry, my will is their shares shall be divided among the saviouriers, equeally. Also I constitiute and appoint JOHN STARKEY, Exec. of this my will and trustee or guardian for my children and revoke all other wills, by me before made and declare this only to be my last will and testament.
