In the name of God Amen, I William SLOAN being sick and weak in body but of 
perfect mind and memory Thanks be to God therefore calling to mind the 
mortality of my body do ordain this my Last Will and Testament And as searching 
such worldly Estate where with it hath please God to bless me I dispose of the 
same in manner form following:
In the first place I committ my soul into the hands of God who gave it amd my 
body to the dust to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner....
It is my desire that all my goods and chattles shall be equally divided amongst 
my family at the descretion of my Executors David SLOAN and William MCCANNE 
giving Easter my beloved wife liberty to live on the plantation during her 
widowhood and after her marriage or decease the land to be sold and the money 
to be equally divided as aforesaid (three words are crossed out)

Additional Comments:
  The 3 words which are crossed out at the end of the will, could possibly 
say "among (a number) children" but it is too hard to read.
