THAT IS TO SAY a principally and first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of the almighty God who first gave it nothing doubting __ at the general Resurrection to Receive the same again by the mighty power of God and my body to the Earth to be buried in a (Christian)like manner at the Descretion of my beloved wife – Content Stout whom I do appoint and ordain Executrix of my last will and testament and as (touching) such worldly estate which hath please God to bless me within this world I give and Despose of them in manner and following (Item) I give and bequeath to my beloved son Jacob Stout and his heirs for Ever one hundred acres of Land whereon he now lives (Item) I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Content Stout the plantation of one Hundred acres of Land wheron I now live Induring her life and after her (Decease) to my Grandson John Stout Stout O his heirs for Ever. Item I give and bequeath to Rosand Dural one cow and a two year old heifer and one ewe a featherbed and firneture Item I give and bequeath unto Robey Dural one cow and a two year old heifer and one ewe and one featherbed and furniture one small iron pott Item one linning wheal one woolling wheal ____I give to be equally Divided between Robey and Rosand Dural Item I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Content Stout all the Remainder of my houshold furniture and stock of ____ induring her life and after her decease to go unto John Stout and his heirs for ever I give unto Sary Stokely my Daughter five ___ I do hereby revoked and disannul all other former wills what by ___ this and no other to Remain my last will and testament. Charles owned land on Mill Run off of the SW Branch of New River in Onslow County. He is found in Onslow by 1740.
