Onslow County, NC - Will of Issac Taylor Sr. 1879 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of Issac Taylor Sr. 1879 I Issac Taylor of the County of Onslow and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of life do make this may last will and testament in manner and form following Witneseth say I hinst that my executor herinafter named shall provide for my body a decent buriel and pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of any money that may come into his hands after my decest Item I give and devise to my oldest son Issac C. Taylor all that track of land wherein he now lives beginning at the mouth of a big ditch near the mill and thence running up the dit6ch and branch to the head of another ditch thence along said ditch to a pan thence along the age of said pan to tankiel branch thence down the branch to mebs creek thence down said creek to the beginning all so one other track lying on the North East end of my Plantation bounded by mebs creek Wm. Parkers line to a mulberry tree thence to the head of a ditch of the other track cold the one acre sqaure all so one baymare seven years old together with one bed bedstid and furniture to have and to hold to him and his heirs in fee simple forever Item I give and devise to my grandson Charles A. Taylor all the residue of my plantation where I now live bounded as follows beginnning at a mulberry tree and corner of Issac C. Taylors land thence running along Wm. Parkers line to a corner thence along said Parkers line to the flay pond thence to the road thence along Casey E. Hollands line to Issac C. Taylors line thence along said Taylor line to the beginning and all so one horse colt by the name of Jack to have and to hold to him and his heirs in fee simple forever Item I give and devise to my oldest daughter Casey E. Holland wife of James M. Holland the following lands to wit beginning at the Haskill beed on the North side of the road thence running along the fence to the sifnis pond then through the sifnis pond to amaten dean thence along the amaten dean to mebs branch thence up said branch to the back garden branch to my own corner and George Smith thence with the pecosen to the beginning to have and to hold to her and her heirs in fee simple forever Item I give and devise to my youngest daughter Helan Rigdon wife of Benjamin Rigdon the residue of all my lands which I have not devised which i says to be about thirty five of forty acres to have and to hold to her and her heirs in fee simple forever Item my will and desire is that the residue of my personal estate if any after taking out the devises legacies above mentioned after selling enough to pay the funeral expenses and debts to be equally divided among my three children Issac C. Taylor C.E.
