Item I give and bequeath to my son Louis G. Thomas one bedstead bod and furniture including 1 bolster 2 pillows 2 quilts & 2 sheets Item I give and bequeath to my son James Thomas one bedstead bed and furniture including 1 bolster 2 pillows 5 quilts & 4 sheets Item I give and bequeath to my son Charles Thomas one bedstead bed and furniture including 1 bolster 2 pillows 2 quilts & 2 sheets Item I give and bequeath to the heirs of my son Charles Thomas one Sorrel horse known by the name of Eclipse Item My will and desire is that the residence of my bed clothing not heretofore disposed of to be divided equally between my three daughters Marinda Morton Serena Davis and Florance Barber Item My will and desire is that the residue of my personal property be sold at public auction and the proceeds to be equally divided share & share a like between my children Geo. L. Thomas Marinda Morton Serena Davis Louis G. Thomas L. W. Thomas James Thomas Charles Thomas and Florance Barber and John Thomas. Item Lastly I do here by constitute and appoint my son in law Edward Morton my lawfull Executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same. Gregory, daughter of Hardy Gregory and Sena Humphrey, married Marquis D. Thomas, of Richlands, NC, on 21 Aug, 1832. He died about 1889. Louis G. Thomas married Adella C. Morton, the daughter of West Morton and Rachel Henderson. Marinda Caroline Thomas married Wesley Edward Morton, son of West Morton and Rachel Henderson. He was made executor of her will. Serena Thomas married John Best Morton, son of West Morton and Rachel Henderson. She was widowed and then married Thomas Davis about 1879.
