This being in the State of North Carolina, Onslow County, January 2nd in the 
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & thirty six-------Here eye Nancy 
Baley do this make my last will and testament.  Eye, Nancy (Baly?), being now 
in my solid mind and perfect senses here, eye Nancy Baley, doth give and 
bequeath unto my brother Charles Cox all of my property only my sister Hannah 
Mashburn eye want her to have one doll. of my property.  So this being my last 
will and testament, eye Nancy Baley will sign seal and deliver unto my brother 
Charles Cox in the presence of this 2nd of January 1836.
