Know ye that I, Benjamin Cowell of Onslow County in the State of North Carolina, out of the love and good will that I have and bear for my wife Cassey Cowell, I have given unto her one negro woman named Lill and I give unto her my two horses; also my stock of cattle and hogs; also all my household and kitchen furniture and all the property that I have, I have given unto my wife and for to give to my son Benjamin Cowell and to my daughter Lizy Cowel what she pleases and when she pleases.
