I, Samuel Evans, being weak of body but of perfect mind make this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows. ITEM I give and bequeath to my two sons James & Whitehurst Evans all my lands and ______ whereon I now live, only if either of them, James or Whitehurst, should die before they arrive to the age of twenty one years, then the surviving one to him the whole also one gray mare, two beds and furniture, two pots hooks and trammels, one spider and all the corn and fodder (?), (illegible) and all the fat hogs and pork and as above that if either James Evans or Whitehurst Evans should die, the other to have the whole as in the care of the land to them and their heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I give and bequeath to my son John Evans one bed and furniture (illegible) to him and his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I give and bequeath to my son Noinus (?) Evans one bed and furniture items to him & his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I give and bequeath to my daughter Mourning Evans one bed and furniture items, one big chest, a side saddle, one linnen wheele and dutch oven & skillet to her & her heirs & assigns forever. My will and desire is that all the remainder of my estate that is not given away above to be sold and after my funeral expences and debts paid, then use the residue of the money arising from sale to be equally divided amongst all my children and Mary Williams and Martilda (illegible) childrens (illegible) mothers part the same as if they were alive. Lastly I make and ordain my worthy sons John and James Evans Executors to this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this 23rd day of November 1833.
