In the name of God Amen. I, Seth Hadnot, of the count & state aforesaid do give and bequeath my property in the manner following to wit. Article the first. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife all my household and kitchen furniture, to wit, four beds, bedsteads & furniture, three tables, nine chairs and generally every thing appertaining thereto. Article the second. Two cows & calves. Article the 3rd. It is my wish that the residue of my property consisting of hogs, farming utensils and one mare to be sold on a credit of six months and with the proceeds thereof, I wish all my just debts paid and none others, the remainder of any I give my beloved wife Susan, who I do nominate my executrix.
