I Benjamin Haskins do this 26th day of Sept 1827 do make & ordain this my last will & testament in following manner & form. My will is that my just debts be paid out of what turpentine I have on land & what debts may be due me by my Executors hereafter to be named. I lend unto my beloved wife Clarissa one third of all my lands during her natural life & I give her the whole of my household & kitchen furniture except two beds & furniture to do as she may see proper with. ITEM I give unto my son Benjamin one half of my lands as I suppose beginning at a white oak in the river and running and old roc of marked trees to the head line & thence to the head of deep branch & down the various courses of said branch to Lamots creek and down that creek to the river & down the various courses of the river to the beginning & confirm the right of all things heretofore given him. ITEM I give my son Levi the other half of my lands bound north by the lands give to my son Benjamin & south by the lands of Daniel M. Dulany as reference to the title papers I hold both pieces of land by. I further give him one cow & one feather bed, bed stead & furniture. ITEM I give my daughter Peggy one bed, bed stead & furniture & one cow & calf. I hereby confirm the gifts of what I have heretofore given my daughter Elizabeth Morton. My will is further all that I have not mentioned in my will with whatever balance if any after paying my debts to be equally divided between my two daughters Elizabeth & Peggy and I hereby constitute & appoint my two sons Benjamin & Levi Executors to this my last will & testament revoking all others witness my hand & seal the day & year above written.
