HUNTINGTON WILL State of North Carolina County of Onslow Will Book 1 In the name of God amen. I, Susan R. Huntington of the State of North Carolina & county of Onslow being weak of body but of sound mind & memory do make & ordain this my last will & testament disposing of my estate in manner & form following to wit: ITEM First, I give & bequeath to my son Edward (J. or I.) Williams one clock, his choice one feather bed, bedstead & furniture to him and his heirs & assigns forever. ITEM Second, I give to my four sons, minors namely Lemuel, William H., James B., & Lewis N. Doty all my negroes to them, their heirs & assigns forever. Lemuel to have one fourth at his arrival at age, William H. one fourth at his arrival at age, James B. one fourth at his arrival at age, & Lewis N. Doty the other fourth at his arrival at age & in case of the death of either of the said children, I wish his property divided among the survivors. It is my will that such of my property as is usually disposed of be sold at a credit of six months & the amt of sales to be placed to the payment of my just debts also of those contracted by my husband Minor (?) Huntington for the use and benefit of my estate & no others. I also wish sold the land I bought of Jacob J. Doty lying on the Northeast sold on a credit of twelve months. I leave to this my last will & testament as Executors my husband Minor (?) Huntington & my son Lemuel Doty in testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand & affixed my seal this 3rd day of December AD 1828.
