I Jesse Hardison of sd. County being weak of body, but of perfect mind & memory blessed by Almighty God for the same and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner & form following that is to say first, give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rebecah Hardison my (illegible) house I now live in with one third of the plantation also my sheep during her natural life. After her death to be returned to my son Samuel my land. I give and bequeath to my two beloved sons Elzy S Hardison & (illegible) Hardison to be divided by the division (?) line which I have made & also give and bequeath to my son Elzey one feather bed & twenty dollars in money. I also give and bequeath to my daughter Aley Taylor married woman two hundred and fifty dollars to her & her lawful begotten heirs of her body forever. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecah all my household & kitchen furniture & beds and furniture during her natural life afterwards to be given as before mentioned to my son Samuel. If either of my sons should die without a lawful begotten heir of their body the land shall then return to the surviving brother or his heirs. I also leave my son Elzey S Hardison to act as an Executor to my last will to settle the business.
