I, being in a low state of health at this time and resign my body to the tomb and give up my soul to God and being in my perfect senses, do make my last will & testament therefore. I give to my beloved wife Esther one negro girl named Moriah. This being my last will & testament, I have for my executor Esther Koonce & David Jenkins. (signed) Abraham Koonce Sealed & signed in the presence of us therefore, I give & leave all the rest of my property that I possess to be equally divided between my beloved wife and children. Then was this will of Abraham Koonce offered for probate & the Execution thereof duly proved in open court by the oath of John Evans, one of the subscribing witnesses and (Charney or Chauncy ?)
