I, Solemon Melton Sr., of the County of Onslow, in the State of North Carolina, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form as follows, (viz.). I loan to my dear beloved wife Esther Melton, the whole of my estate, both real and personal, during her natural existence or widowhood. (Illegible) to be hired out at her own proposals after paying my debts and the decease of the aforementioned Esther Melton, each and every part and particle of my estate both real and personal to the value of ten cents to be equally divided between my children. I publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all others and former wills by me at any time heretofore made, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this August 10th day AD 1832.
