I, Alexander Nielson, being sick, but thank God I am in perfect mind and memory and as to my body, I want it to be decently buried and as to the worldly goods that has been by me acquired, I give as follows: ITEM I give unto my brother J--- (June?) Craft one shilling of my estate. I also give unto my brother Elisha Craft one shilling and I give unto my sister Elisabeth Harvey one shilling, and I also give unto my brother James Nielson one shilling of my estate, to them and their heirs and assigns forever. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Nielson all of the rest of my estate that I at this time possess, to her and her heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I constitute and appoint my worthy friend Jesse Ward (?) my executor to this my last will and testament disannulling all other will or wills by me made.
