Each use of his first name is abbreviated and unclear. The county clerk who originally transcribed this will may have chosen to abbreviate the name or the transcription may be just as the testator signed his name. In the case of the subscribing witness, H--- G. Williams, again the name is abbreviated but it does not appear the letters following the letter H are the same as the letters following the letter H in the testator's name. I chose to use the name "Houston" in the event the father was "Senior", but I must warn that the name could be "Hosea" or any other guess. Hopefully, someone will be familiar with this will and can provide the true names.)
