I, Geo. Hazard of the County and state aforesaid, being of sound an perfect mind and memory, Blessed be the almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. (Impie?) My will is that my Executors hereafter named pay off the debts I owe out of my outstanding debts that is due me. ITEM I give unto my beloved wife, Nancy Hazard, my riding chair & harness and horse also as much of my household furniture as she stand in nead of, also of stocks of every kind also corn & bacon & pork and her equeal part of land & Negroes. ITEM I give unto daughters Nancy and (Susa?) Hazard my land that I own near Swansborough, the Glaspea land and to be divided as rhode runs and one lot in town of Swansborough if either of my daughters should decese before they come of age or marry the surviver is to hold all the land also land on Bare Banks that I bought of John Morse also their equeal part of my Negroes to them and their heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give unto son George the land where I live that I bought of Creed Dudley and his equeal part of my Negroes to him and his heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give unto my son Thomas the land that I bought of John Errexson and the land I bought of the Executors, Mr. Edwd. Ward, also a small piece of land I pattenned a joining said land and a joining the land I give my son George and the land that patton on Wallasses Creek also the land that I have on Bare Creek or the mortgage money and his equeal part of my Negroes to him and his heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM My will is that my Executors hereafter named do sell all my estate that I have not given away and the money divided between my wife and my children. Lastly, I appoint my beloved wife my Executrix with my friend Edmund Hatch Junr. And Durant Hatch Esq. of Jones County of this my last will and testament my Executors revoking all others by me made. I have hereunto set my hand seal. I do appoint my friend Daniel Dulany in the room of Durant Hatch Esqr.
