First, I give unto my loving wife Marendy Scott all of my land that I posses during her natural life and after her decease, I give it to my two youngest sons, John Scott and Edward Scott, for the love and good will I have for them. I leave John Scott my son a mare called Cate, one cow and calf and one feather bed and I leave to my son Edward Scott one horse by the name of Jack, one cow and calf and one feather bed. To my son James Scott, I leave five dollars; unto my son William Scott, I leave five dollars; to my daughter Betsey Penawil, I leave one dollar; to my daughter Becky Scott, I leave ten dollars; and to my daughter Mandy Ellis, I leave ten dollars; to my daughter Marindy (Kellum?), I leave ten dollars; and to my daughter Elender Scott, I leave one cow and calf and feather bed.
