Imprimis, my will and desire is that all my just debts and funeral expences be first paid and satisfied. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anny Whitehurst one dollar currant money to her, her heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my daughter Beneter Capps one dollar currant money to her, her heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Julius Thompson one mare and all my stock of hogs and beas and one cupboard, two setting chairs, one pot and trammel, one pork barrel, one flour barrel, one spade to him and his heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my beloved son John Thompson one feather bed, bed stead and furniture, one pair tables, two setting chairs, one pair of steayards (steelyards?), one frying pan and griddle, one grubbing hoe, drawing knife, hatchet and ax, one oak barrel and small flour barrel, one saw (shoal?) to him and his heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter (Taro?) Thompson one feather bed and furniture, one loom and gear, two sitting chairs, one stone jar, some few articles of earthen ware, one tub, one pail, one small pot, one hand iron to her, her heirs and assigns for ever, one linnen wheel. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my daughter Martha Thompson one feather bed and furniture, one falling table, one chest, two setting chairs, one (piggin?), one (Kelor or Helor?), one woolen wheel, one Dutch oven, one tea kettle, one smoothing iron, one iron shovel, a few articles of earthen ware to her, her heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM My will and desire further is that my stock of cattle be equally divided between my two daughters Taro and Martha Thompson. And I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty and good friends Julius Thompson and Jonas Johnston whole and sole Executors of this my last will and testament, revoking (and) disannulling all other former wills testament or bequests or executors heretofore by me made or named and I do hereby further publish, pronounce and declare this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of September and in the year of our Christ one thousand eight and thirty nine.
