I, John A. Willy, of State of North Carolina and County of Onslow, being of sound perfect mind and memory blessed be God, do this 7th day of February in the year of our Lord 1839 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say. First, I lend to my dear beloved wife all of my property that I have in possession at my death containing my plantation, my stock also my household and kitchen furniture and horse & cart and all of my plantation utensils in duren of her natural life time. After the death of my wife, I then give and bequeath to my nephew John W. Petteway my plantation where I live call the John King Plantation, to him, his heirs and assigns. Secondly, I leave all of my perishable property to be sold and the money arising to equally divided between my lawful heirs except my brother Henry W. Willy. Thirdly and to him I give and bequeath to my brother H. W. Willy one dollar to him and his heirs forever and I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend John Shepard Executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said John A.
