I, Cornelious Breec, being sick of body but of good sound memory, calling to rememberance the uncertainty of this transitory life and that all flesh must yield to death when it shall please God to call for it. First of all, I recommend my soul to almighty God who first gave it to me and my body to be buryed in a neat Christian like manner as shall suit my Executor whom I shall hereafter mention, I will and desire that my funeral charges shall be well and truly paid with all my just debts within a convenient time after my decease. Then I lend to my beloved wife two beds and furniture with all my pot wear, one wollen wheel and cards, one loom and harnis and stays, three chest what cotton there is about house, the wash tubs and water pails and barrels, two axes, one coffee mill, two dishes, too basons, four plates, one table, five chairs, two stone jugs, four earthen bowls, two hoes, one grubbing hoe, one pair flat irons, all the protted flax, one fat tub, one pair stillards, one dozen pewter spoons, one sifter, one Bible, one testament, three small balls, one mug, one tumbler , one dozen chunk bottles, two decanters, seven case bottles, on hand mill, one grind stone and no more. This I lend to my beloved wife during her natural life time and widowhood, then to go to the raising of my youngest child Henery Breec. ITEM: I give to my eldest son Richard Breec one shotgun and no more. ITEM: I give to my daughter Polly Breec one heifer and no more. And the rest of the property both personal and individual, I leave to be sold to pay my just debts.
