This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I, Cathy Ennett of the County of Onslow & State of North Carolina, being sick of body but perfect mind and memory and knowing that all people have once to die, I do recommend my soul to God who gave it & my body to the earth to be buried in Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter nominated. And as for what worldly goods it has been pleased God to give me, I dispose of in the following manner, that is to say, first of all, my will directs is that all my just debts be punctually paid. Item: I give and bequeath to my two daughters, viz., Polly & Catharine Ennett one dollar apiece and no more & also give & bequeath to my son Nathaniel Ennett one dollar and no more and all the rest of my property I leave to be sold on a credit of six months and the money equally divided between Nancy, Easter, and Edmund Gibbens. I revoke all other wills, establishing this to be my last will and testament and lastly of all, I nominate Edward Williams and William King as executors to this my last will and testament, whereas I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of October 1819.
