In the name of God, Amen.
I, Thomas Eubanks, of the County & State aforesaid, being in a low state of 
health & weak in body yet thanks to God of a sound mind, perfect memory & 
understanding, do make and ordain this to be my last will & testament in the 
form & manner following VIZ: In the first place, it is my desire that all my 
just debts & necessary expenses be satisfied & paid.
Item:  I will & bequeath unto my beloved daughter Cassandra Eubank one cow & 
calf.
Item:  I will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Alice Eubank one cow & 
calf.
Item: I will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Salome Eubank one cow & 
calf.
Item: I will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Martha Eubank one cow & 
calf.
Item: I will and bequeath unto my beloved grandson Thomas Eubank, son of John, 
one heifer and her increase.
And the residue & remaining part of my property, both real & personal, I lend 
unto my beloved wife Salome Eubank during her widowhood, & at the day of her 
marriage or death, I will & bequeath unto my beloved daughter Martha Eubank 
one negroe girl named Judith & her increase forever.  Also at the death or 
marriage of my beloved wife aforesaid, I will and bequeath unto my beloved 
daughter Salome Eubank one negroe girl named Anaky & her increase forever.  
Also I will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Cassandra Eubank, at the 
death or marriage of my beloved wife aforesaid, one negroe woman named Linda & 
her increase from the date of this my last will forever.  Also at the death or 
marriage of my beloved wife, I will & bequeath unto my beloved grandson Thomas 
Eubank, son of John, my riding mare and bridle & saddle & her increase to him 
& his heirs forever, and if the said mare is not living at my death, I will & 
bequeath in the aforesaid manner unto my aforesaid grandson the best horse 
kind that I am possessed of at the day of my death.  Also at the death or 
marriage of my beloved wife aforesaid, I will & bequeath unto my beloved 
grandson aforesaid all the lands and premises that I am possessed of at the 
day of my death.  Also at the death of or marriage of my aforesaid beloved 
wife, I will & bequeath unto my daughter Lovice & my five sons, to wit: 
Ezekiel, John, Elisha, Elijah & Isaac equally, all of my stock of every kind & 
all my plantation tools, to them & their heirs forever.  Also at the death or 
marriage of my beloved wife aforesaid, I will and bequeath unto my beloved 
daughters aforesaid, to wit, Cassandra, Alice, Salome, & Martha, all of my 
household furniture whatsoever & whensoever to be equally divided amongst 
them.  And I do nominate, constitute & appoint my beloved brother John Eubank 
& my trusty friend William Hellen executors to this my last will & testament 
whom I give full power and authority to sell and dispose of any part of my 
property that they shall think proper for the support of my beloved wife 
aforesaid as they shall see need, & also if they shall think it best, I desire 
that they shall hire out the Negroes at private sale at their own discretion 
for the support of my aforesaid beloved wife.  And revoking all other my 
former will or wills, legacies, bequests & executors by me before made or 
given, I do ratify & confirm this to be my last will & testament in witness 
whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this the 6th day of June 
in the year of our Lord 1807.

Onslow County:  In court March Term 1808.  The within will of Thomas Eubank 
was proved in open court, Lott Eubanks & Asa Eubanks & John Eubank & Wm. 
Hellen, one of the executors therein named qualified thereto.
