This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I, Ezekiel Haskins, being sick and weak of body, but of sound mind and memory, thanks be to God, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in following manner and form; that is to say, I recommend my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named. My will is that all my just debts be paid and my funeral expences first out of my estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with. Item: I give unto my friend Miss Peggey Newton five dollars in cash, as a small compensation for her kindness to me. ITEM: I give unto my friend Houston Roberts the remainder of all my estate, both real and personal, after paying my debts and I nominate him my executor, to execute this my last will and testament, revoking all others by me at any time made.
