Therefore, I give to my beloved wife Esther one Negro girl named Marier, this being my last will and testament. I leave for my executors Esther Koonce and David Jenkins. Therefore I give and leave all the rest of my property that I possess to be equally divided between my beloved wife and children. Abraham Koonce (seal) Sealed and signed in the presents of us Test: John Evans Daniel (his X mark) Aman State of North Carolina} Onslow County} Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions, February term 1830, then was this will of Abraham Koonce offered for probate and the execution thereof duly proved in open court by the oath of John Evans, one of the subscribing witnesses, and Charney Sparkman came into court and qualified as administrator with this will, annexed agreeable to law.
