ITEM: Will and desire that all my just debts to be paid and funeral expenses. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Daniel Koonce's heirs one dollar, to them and their heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth McDaniel one dollar, to her and her heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son George Koonce one dollar, to him and his heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Lewis Koonce one cow and calf, to him and his heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Gornto one cow and calf, to her and her heirs forever. ITEM: I lend to my beloved wife Wenney Koonce all my lands and plantations where I now live that is on the east side of the southwest branch of New River with all my working tools during her widowhood, and if she should marry, then the one-third part of the before-mentioned lands and plantations during her life for the purpose of raising, supporting and schooling my four youngest children, Michael, Holland, Penelope and Louisa Koonce, clear of any charge against my or their estate. Also, I lend to my wife all household and kitchen furniture, also all the rest of my stock of cattle previous to the aforementioned, also two sows and pigs and horse named Spark, one cart, one riding chair, during widowhood then to have a child's part with my four youngest children, namely Michael, Holland, Penelope, and Louisa Koonce. ITEM: I give to my beloved wife five head of sheep during her life, also two beds and furniture. My will and desire is that all my lands on the west side of the southwest branch of New River to be sold at the discretion of my executors for the purpose of discharging of my debts and all the rest of my property not mentioned to be sold for the like manner. And I hereby make and appoint my son Lewis Koonce and my worthy friend Emanuel Jarman my executors to this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I, the said Daniel Koonce, set my hand and affix my seal the day and date first above written.
