This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina State of North Carolina} Onslow County} In the name of God, Amen: I, Phebe Landen of the county aforesaid, being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, desires my last will and testament in the following manner and form: ITEM: I give and bequeath to my grandson John Landen two cows and calves and one stear, one sow and four pigs, one large chest, one feather bed furniture, one dish, two basons, three plates, six spoons, three earthen plates, two boals, one tumbler, one frying pan, one pot, one Dutch oven, one linning wheel, one wollen wheel, one pair of cards, one churn tub, one pail, two piggins, one smoothing iron, and all my plantation tools. To him, his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM: I give to my daughter Nancy Parker five shillings to her, her heirs and assigns forever. I lend to my daughter Nancy Parker one cow and yearling, one large barrow, one bed, one zig, one linning wheel, two wooden boals, one wooden dish, one pewter dish, two puter basins, three puter plates, six spoons, three earthen plates, two boals, one pot, the above articles is lent to my daughter induring her life, at her deceased I desire that my grandson Bryant Parker should have it to him, his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM: I give to my son James Landen five shillings to him, his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM: I give to the heirs of my son Stephen Landen deceased, five shillings to them, their heirs and assigns forever. I constitute and appoint my friend Joseph Marshborn executor to this my last will and testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and offer my seal this 22nd of March 1805.
