This day came before me, Daniel Shephard, one of the Justices of Onslow 
County, John Gornto and Thomas Pitt and made oath that they heard Rachel Lee, 
decd., give and deliver unto her daughter Elizabeth one Negro child Peter and 
one feather (bed) to be her lawful right forever, which Negro & feather bed 
was as they believe to be the property of the said Rachel Lee at the time of 
testing.
