ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - William Norman, 29 Apr 1808 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina State of North Carolina} Onslow County} In the name of God Amen: I William Norman, being perfect in sence and memory knowing that it was appointed for all men once to dy and I do make this last will and testament in manner and form as following that is to say First of all I recommend my soul to God that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in Christian like manner and as touching my wourdly estate I give and dispose of in manner and form as follows, First my will is that my executors sell as much of my estate as will satisfy my ust debts. ITEM: I leave my Negro Dick and my Loorfield lying on the lowest to be hired out early for the raising and schooling of my four sons Lot, Fredrick Edward and John Norman and the house field I leave to my beloved wife for her and the aforesaid children support and my part of said Stephen land to be sold and all land lying from my home plantation. ITEM: My will is that after my just debts is satisfied that my property shall be equally divided between my beloved wife Merimum Norman and my four sons above mentioned, Lot, Edward, Fredrick and John. Further I consitutte and appoint my friend Henry Mashborn Executor with my wife Merrium Executorix to this my last will and testament revoking all other wills by me makde and declaring this and not other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereto set my hand fixed my seal this twenty ninth April 1808.
